Anyone know the guys they caught in Fairfax? In later episodes, they had law enforcement on site to arrest and process them immediately. They didn't have them here but a lot of them got arrested later on. The perverted justice site shows if they were arrested/charged but someone had to have known them personally.

he says Fairfax County, VA at 1:43 but not where in ffx. They eventually stopped the show because a guy killed himself because of a similar investigation. It's too bad, it was a good show and locked up a lot of bad people. They actually caught one of these assholes twice...

Before a 'concerned' citizen came forward this piece of garbage was recently working at Georgetown University Hospital as a Pediatric Certified Nursing Assistant.

Apparently Georgetown didn't want to spend money to have this individual thoroughly screened before being hired so as a result he was taking care of your kids. Georgetown hasn't issued a press release though he's no longer on the staff directory, so who's to say if he's still working there. A cover up just like penn state. I think a class action lawsuit may be in order but apparently the burden of proof is greater than one would think.

He worked in the pediatric ICU unit. Todd k thompson is his name.

It was a bullshit show for the unwashed masses. It was operated by over zealous volunteers who eventually entrapped victims. They were supposed to work with the police but a lot of evidence was worthless. Maybe it scared off some pervs but I doubt it. also, Hansen got caught with his hand in the extramarital cookiejar. I admit it was good tv but was it actually useful? I don't think so.

One of them was a junior enlisted soldier stationed at Ft. Belvoir.


Can't find the specific episode, but he also wanted to involve his dog.

This guy was caught in one of those stings. Unfortunately unlike the guys on 'To Catch a PRedator' if there is no television coverage alot of times these guys have their records wiped clean after some time so it's as if they didn't even commit the crime in the first place. Luckily the Balitmore Sun was on top of this and published these articles, otherwise he'd still be working in a Pediatric ICU giving spongebaths and all the other things orderlies/CNA's do.

Here we go, his name was Joe Wundaler and he was assigned to INSCOM on Fort Belvoir.


He was notable because of his stutter and his desire to involve a dog.

I do remember he was kicked out of the Army a month after the show aired.

There was a lot of morbid curiosity to the show, but it demonstrated how pervasive these sickos are on the internet, and how easy it is for a child to get entangled with this.

Now that I think about it, I agree that the volunteers really thought they were super heroes and would go out of their way to entrap some victims. No doubt some of the guys were fucked up but there was this one guy I thought they really baited multiple times:

Lol, I remember those arrests, the cop was in a ghillie suit. I think it was the episode in florida. That was definitely to get some ratings for nightline. I think that was the same episode where they were rushing the guys and slamming them to the ground.
