Whiners. People in Fairfax have it pretty good. Even the worst school is nice. I've been all over the mid Atlantic region over the years from Florida to Delaware, Ohio to Mississippi, Jersey and the eastern shore. Every facility in Fairfax that I walk into, from the building inspections to the animal shelter, schools, rec centers, just look like money. The government employees are almost always top notch and competent. In spite of all the bitching about everything wrong with Fairfax, I must say we really have a lot of great things here. Maybe our biggest problem is that we take so much for granted. It could always be better, but likewise most would love to have it so good. Now let the insults fly and the bitching begin.

This Fairfax County that we live in is my favorite Fairfax County. In fact, I'm unaware of any others.
