Just don't get caught out in the national park systems when they start using EMR to bomb their cell towers hidden there...

"Enough electromagnetic radiation will be emitted so as to be capable of melting human eye tissue, and causing breast cancer, childhood leukemia and damage to human fetuses, let alone impacting wildlife in the area."

Not a single radio technician here. Cell phone frequencies are all well below the ionized radiation frequencies. What you are implying not only defies logic, it defies physics. Anyone who has had astronomy, microwave training, or has been to radio or radar school can verify. But what fun is that. Idiots with information and imagination.

While cell phone frequencies are not ionizing, you can get heating with enough power if you are close to the antenna. This a known issue with any RF transmitter. Generally, its hard to get this kind of burn since dangerous situations are clearly labelled.

I forgot to mention, I don't think cancer is likely. Melting tissue or fetal damage is possible but again you would need to stand next to the radiating elements in almost all cases. Some of directional antennas wouldn't require as close proximity but they will be on a tower. I suggest pregnant women not climb energized radio towers.
