ha yeah right as of now it's extended to June 22nd, and for a couple of those days we can get them back because the gov declared a state of emergency, so we are only going to really have 2 extra days. In the 2010 snow storm when we had 2 weeks off they only extended school for 3 extra days and no one shows up the last week anyways because the SOL is over and you just watch movies in class.

Except no one will pass the SOL's because we are not teaching to the test!

I could pass the SOL'S at the start of the year. You have to be pretty dumb to fail them.

It's true, the last week is spent watching movies and having class parties. Everyone's so worried about the being extended except the students don't care, because everyone stays home.

Monday 3/3 extended our year to June 24th, Tuesday 3/4 is a freebie. Anything after that they can either add days or lengthen the bell schedules

As intheknow posted, FCPS has added June 23 and 24.

Well, FCPS had a plan in place to educate you, and that's been blown all to hell. What makes you think your summer vacation plans cant be changed?

Well, this may make me sound dumb, but the place we rented in Va. Beach has a non-refundable deposit. It was the only way to get a place for under 21 year olds. If they push school out to June 30th we're fucked. Unless we just skip that last week altogether.

Hahaha...what an idiot. I wouldnt rent my house to a bunch of high school under 21 douche bags for $10,000 a week. The place will be destroyed and the poor owner will never get his money back.
