When they get to the big fish. It works exactly the same way as with drugs. Cops bust a dude for a fake bill. They interrogate him to get to the next guy. Once they get close enough to the source, they call in the SS.

Must be a FCPS grad asking about the Secret Service and counterfeiting.

The Secret Service has always been responsible for currency/counterfeiting enforcement. This was the original reason it was formed after the Civil War. Yes the war everyone wants to forget about and remove any Confederate references to.

It was only in 1901 it started with presidential protection.

The Civil War was 150 years ago, and it's the LOSERS of that war who can't let it go. Germans, Italians, and Japanese have all adapted much better to defeat in WWII and they did in much less than half the time.

Meanwhile, the history that deserves to be reversed here is that from Virginia's disgraceful era of "massive resistance" following the Supreme Court's Brown v Board of Education decision. Some school systems were simply shut down by white racist reactionaries rather than see them admit a single black student. In other systems, names from Confederate history were attached to schools by racists as a means of intimidating any black student who ever passed through the doors. This was an era of extreme shame in Virginia. It is not something that should be celebrated, commemorated, or perpetuated in any way.
