Tax and spend liberals of Virginia built the Dulles Greenway. It was the private sector horny conservatives that allow tolls to be placed on it. It's time for both sides to admit that they failed what is massive project and privatize the Dulles Greenway!!!

The 12.5 mile Dulles Greenway was privately built is already a privately owned toll road. It is not a public asset. The current owner is "Toll Road Investors Partnership II" (TRIP II), which is a consortium of the Bryant/Crane Family LLC, the Franklin L. Haney Co., and Kellogg Brown & Root.

Previously the responsibility for operating the road was scheduled to revert to Virginia in 2036 via a concession agreement. However, in 2001, the Virginia State Corporation Commission extended this period to 2056.

They just passed a law to put tolls on Rt 66. Better get used to it or find a job out in the western burbs so you don't have to pay all the tolls.
