These reports about dead bodies gives me a sinking feeling.
I guess we'll have to wait for more details to surface.

It is beyond disturbing to have your daughter come home from school and tell you that a body was found in our complex's waterways! For those who live in the Centreville area, at approximately 12:00 pm, a woman's body was found in a pond at Lakeside Apartments. Someone walking by the pond discovered the body floating underneath the gazebo. I pray for this woman's soul, her family, and Fairfax County Police to find the killer ASAP!
As a resident and speaking with fellow neighbors, we at Lakeside are shocked to have this tragedy happen in our complex. This is a quiet neighborhood with many people walking their dogs at all hours of the day and night. Very sad...
On Saturday, while walking my dog near the pond where the body was found, I met a man. He was looking for his wife who had been missing three days. He was concerned that she had gone off to commit suicide, as she had tried before.

Dear sir,
How do you know she was killed? Please provide your address and contact info as we would like to speak with you.
Haven't there been multiple bodies found in or near bodies of water lately. If I am remembering right since January there have been 8. I don't know seems like a high number for drownings and a lot for suicide....scary.

That part of the county has long been known for its unusually high number of mysterious drownings. When the Centreville area was first settled by colonists, they often referred to it as "Davey Jones' Locker".

Dog walker:
Did you inform police of your conversation with this man?
Dick Tracy: I don't know if she was killed. I just assumed because she was found in the pond. That was wrong of me to assume. I guess anything could have happened to her. Either way, it is sad and the residents here are really freaked out!
Dumping of bodies into the HOA pond is prohibited. If you are found to be in violation of this clause of the bylaws of the Centreville HOA, you will be subject to a $175.00 fine, plus process fee.

I seriously doubt they drain into anything over that way. the water would have to go up hill. they're probably spring fed and just drain into the local sewers.

Yes, it does seem like bodies are popping up in all sorts of ponds in FFX county. I keep thinking some type of gang execution.
If this was suicide, the determination is unreal. Purposely drowning is pretty hard for a person to accomplish. Your natural instincts kick in to survive. Unless you weigh yourself down or are not a swimmer.. I can't see how anyone could go through with a successful suicide this way.

If you're sober very true, now while fucked up on all sorts of drugs quite a bit easier.

I called twice. The dispatcher asked, what do you want me to do? I said, tell me what to do. She said, if you see the man again, ask him if he found his wife. If he hasn't, tell him to call the police.

Good point. I guess if you are limited to a gun, pills, a garage/car... This is a next option.

You do realize that picture isn't of the person who was found in the lake, right?
very disturbing. Centreville is a nice neighborhood. All neighbors are so close really, it's strange. We also have a fellow officer who lives very close to the accident. It's sad that first we get natural gas leaking into our lakes, affecting our beautiful wildlife, now this and still no way of knowing?? So lakeside has jumped from becomming contaminated to NOW the lake takes in precious lives. I'm so fed up with what is happening, people just don't care as much anymore, it's very sad, very sad, now wife is horrified and skeptical whether the entire lake itself will cave in. Just too much for fairfax, not something our officers and neighbors needed on their minds. Many blessings to you fellow fairfaxers and centrevillites. We need it.
Its very sad!And its very sad, that parents don't seem to have the time they should take too raise the children they brought into the world! Yes, teens are a real handful, but they need your time, and your ear and your heart! They don't NEED more stuff and fancy cars and the like! too many parents are working real hard too prvide their kids with material things! NO! give them your time, and try going too church, and not a game on Sunday. lead by exmaple that the life you have and all your blessings are not just things you did on your own power! We need God,and we think we are God! We are not! Our kids need us and God.They will turn too drugs when the shiny new car gets boring, and mom and dad are too into their smart phones too even talk too them!

All valid points, but you forgot to mention the sex.
They need sex. Lots of sex.
Sex in groups, sex alone. Sex in a car, sex at home.
On Monday, May 16, officers were called to the 6200 block of Ridge Pond Road, Centreville, for a report of a deceased person in a pond at the apartment complex.
Members of the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) Underwater Search and Recovery Team (commonly referred to as the Dive Team) retrieved the body of a female from the water.
The deceased woman has been identified as Masoumeh Kord, 43, of Fairfax.
Police are working with the family to provide support, according to the FCPD.

Of course I want to see who she is (way to much time on my hands) and there is nothing about her on Google or FB. Annoying because I still think this entire thing is sketchy. I guess that is a sign I need to mind my business.
while there's no evidence the "boyfriend" intended her death he still facilitated an illegal death by feeding her large ammounts of poison causing death: which is illegal
still there is a charge of facilitating death to be PAID for
