They do check friends list and ALL facebook posts.

I just had one done and they were VERY detailed on my social media activity. They had all my facebook friends, not just the ones public shown.

They were also able to see all my private msg on facebook and Snapchat. Just assume the security clearance check will see all your activity in social media.

The only way that would be possible would be if YOU gave them the password, or if the social media companies are cooperating. And they'd go out of business in a heartbeat if they were sharing private messages.

It is a good way to manage your life, though. Assume they can. And don't do stupid shit.
