Where Can I Exchange Currency Locally?

I have a few thousand Mexican pesos and a few hundred Belize dollars.

Is there anywhere in Fairfax county that can give me a fair exchange rate or do I have to save these things until I return? Not in a big hurry to do either.

Dulles airport. I'm not sure how reasonable their rates are though.

Haven't done it in a while, but IAD and the place on K St in DC are ripoffs.

You say you wanted a "fair rate", did you?

Airport? Just a SWAG, no idea whether this meets your "fair exchange" rate.

Or a bank -- I've exchanged currencies at a bank. In that case I didn't care about the exchange rate.

P.S. I had to wait for the exchange to clear -- they couldn't do it on the spot, which struck me as odd.

Airports usually give you shitty rates too.

I would go to your bank.

I used to just deposit euro and pounds in my bank account, although there were currencies they didn't like (I think they took rand under protest but refused pula). If I recall they didn't even charge a fee, although the rate was sometimes only so-so. Unless you have a big pile o' money, I'd just stop in at Dulles, screw the rate.

I'll trade you some Bitcoins for those pesos and Belize dollars.
