Is this ironic?

The flag considered the confederate flag was the battle flag of northern Virginia in the civil war....Yet Northern Virginians rarely fly it.

This is why I find people complaining about their heritage while flying it ironic because it is not their heritage it is mine yet I choose not to fly such things. XD Its so funny

I have nothing against the flag. Its just a flag. I like Vexillology and I just thought it was interesting and ironic.
