ACPED is not a legitimate pediatrics group. They're right wingers, who are rejected by every established pediatrics group. A simple Google search should tell you this.

No a simple Google search does not show that. You need to list your sources. Aside from that they're right. Not right wing. Or maybe that's why they're called right wing. Because they're always right.

They are right wingers. They were founded in 2002 as a backlash against the AAP's support of adoption by gay couples. Of course they are against letting kids self identify their gender - no surprise there. Read their website - it's obvious from that alone that they are super conservative. But there's not conflict in school district policy here - especially not conflict with a marginal group like this.
