How do I block someone FB

On FB HOW do I prevent someone from seeing my future and past posts/pictures on FB?
Don't want to permanently unfriend them.

It's a dirt bag relative DIL

Under settings, go to blocking, then restricted list:



Restricted List Edit List


When you add a friend to your Restricted List, they won't see posts on Facebook that you share only to Friends. They may still see things you share to Public or on a mutual friend's Timeline, and posts they're tagged in. Facebook doesn't notify your friends when you add them to your Restricted List. Learn more.

I was FB friends with this relative and now when I search for them I get no results. So, did they UNFRIEND or BLOCK me.
