Gunston Elementary in the late 1980s

I was a student at Gunston Elementary in the late 80s, before moving away in very early 90s. Anyone else on here from that timeframe? I was interested in looking up a teacher. Her name was Susan Spencer; I don't know if she got married and changed her name, but I have not been able to find her on linked in, and she is no longer at Gunston. I'd be interested to hear anyone's memories of Gunston from that time! Thanks.

uh, ok buddy. She was my first grade teacher.

Mentioning her name in a neutral or positive light is somehow bad? It's not a big deal unless there are there a bunch of idiots on this site that harass anyone who is mentioned by name in a post.

Ms. Spencer was murdered back in 1993. She had taken on a second job working for a local contractor. The dude killed her to avoid paying her at the end of the job. Her body was hauled out of Lake Royal. It's an open case, discussed on this forum often and FCPD has a suspect but, they have been unable to locate him.

Wow, that is sad to hear. I was inducted into a business honor society and had the chance to name a teacher that inspired me. I wanted to name her, but they had to have contact information. I am close to finishing my MBA, and as long as I keep my scores up, I will be invited to the graduate school part of the same honor society. I wanted to see if I could find out where she is working now, so I could honor her this time.

If you have any link you could provide to articles, etc. I would really appreciate it. I haven't come across anything yet on google or from searching this forum.

I hooked up with Susie down at Bar-J's back in the summer of '84. I can tell you the chick was a total freak, and could suck a dick like a carwash vacuum cleaner.
