10925 Fairfax Boulevard / Fairfax Hyundai
the vehicle owner reported that unknown person(s) had taken numerous items from his vehicle while it was at the dealership for service. Items taken included several gift cards and credit cards, one of which had subsequently been used to make an unauthorized purchase.

3720 Old Lee Highway / Van Dyck Park Parking Lot
the vehicle owner reported that unknown person(s) had broken into her parked vehicle and stolen her purse and wallet containing cash, identification, credit cards and gift cards.
January 28 sometime between 11:30 AM - 10:20 PM
Unlawful Entry
10100 Block of Cavalry Drive
the resident reported unknown person(s) had gained entry to the home by forcing a door open.
January 29 after 3:00 PM
Larceny from Vehicle
3400 Block of Preservation Drive
the vehicle owner reported that unknown person(s) had entered his unlocked parked vehicle and stolen cash and thrown the contents of his glove box and console around.
January 30 after 4:00 PM
Larceny from Vehicle / Vehicle Tampering
9400 Block of Old Reserve Way
the owners of three vehicles reported that unknown person(s) had entered their unlocked parked vehicles and pulled the contents out of the glove boxes. Nothing was reported taken from two of the vehicles. A laptop computer, GPS unit, wireless hotspot and a backpack were taken from the third vehicle.
