"America's Book of Secrets" on the Discovery Channel just said there is an underground tunnel from Edwards Air Force Base to Dulles.

When you think about it it makes perfect sense. Only a handful of people would know about it because they would use illegals to build it then kill them. And what better way to move from an airport to an air-force base than in a car in a tunnel underground? Much faster than taking a ship.

The government built that tunnel from Dulles to Andrews AF in California in the early 60's. They used Dulles airport as a cover to hide the construction equipment and dirt from the tunnel.
There is also a tunnel under the W&O railroad trail to DC that connects to Dulles. It also has tons of fiber connecting datacenters in Ashburn and Tysons to DC.
All of the "black" secret buildings are located off the W&O trail or Dulles Toll road. They located them near the trail and toll road to use the tera fiber lines. Reston is packed with average looking businesses that have huge underground classified site.

Andrews is in Maryland not California. It's only a few miles.

My bad. I meant Edwards AF not Andrews AF. However Andrews AF is also connect to DC by tunnels.
If you draw a line from Dulles to Edwards on an topographical map you'll see why it makes sense to construct the East-West tunnel to Edwards.

My bad. I meant Edwards AF not Andrews AF. However Andrews AF is also connect to DC by tunnels.
If you draw a line from Dulles to Edwards on an topographical map you'll see why it makes sense to construct the East-West tunnel to Edwards.

No, there isn't. You can take the Green Line to Anacostia and get pretty close to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. You'd have to change trains at L'Enfant Plaza though.

Yes there is a tunnel from the White House to Andrews. Also to the Pentagon.
There is also a mini-subway system for Congressman under the Capitol that goes between the outer office buildings like the Rayburn building. It use to be open to the public. You have to wind around in the Labyrinth tunnel under the Capitol to find the mini-subway stops.
