No Regular Gas!

On my way home from work this afternoon, I either stopped or drove by 8 gas stations.
None of them had regular gas! I stopped at the last four before I get home and they were all out of regular gas.
How is that possible? Is this gas station owners knowing that everyone is trying to get gas before the snowstorm so their gouging the public because they also know they'll be losing business during the storm?

Regular gasoline was discontinued 25+ years ago. What gas stations now sell is Unleaded Regular Gasoline.
If they are out of the 87 octane, you can put 89 octane in your car and it will run fine.
Don't worry - It won't hurt your 1986 Ford Escort.

OH NO OH NO, I ONLY HAVE HALF A TANK OF GAS, IT'S GOING TO BE SNOWING SO I WONT BE DRIVING MUCH IF AT ALL, BETTER FUCKING RUSH AND FILL THE FUCK UP. THERE WONT BE ANYMORE GAS AVAILABLE ONCE THE ROADS ARE CLEARED.

You gassed up last night because you were stuck with every other loser cant drive in an inch of snow piece of shit and were ready to run out after spending 3 1/2 hours trying to get home in what would normally be a 20 minute drive.
