Storm delays delivery of Girl Scout cookies

WASHINGTON (AP) -- This week's winter storm means thousands of Girl Scouts will have to wait up to a week to deliver cookies to their customers.

A Girl Scouts spokeswoman says the organization had to reschedule delivery of 577,000 boxes of cookies in the Washington area.

The biggest delivery to be postponed was in the District of Columbia, where 135,000 boxes were scheduled to be delivered to the city's Girl Scouts at RFK Stadium on Friday. That delivery has been pushed back to next Friday.

All told, Girl Scouts in the district and its suburbs are receiving 4 million cookies at 39 locations.

We got ours in NOVA. Delivered to neighbors via sled and sold more in the streets. No free rides here. Can't make it pleasant to miss school.

Cookies are $4/box in DC. If you're paying $5 give us a call and we'll come to you.

You know none of that planned parenthood/abortion stuff being associated with girl scouts is true.
I can scream it from the rooftops but the right wing nut jobs believe what they want to believe. Facts can be inconvenient.

We've been selling girl scout cookies for years and still haven't gotten lucky. It's my understanding that one case out of a million comes with a coupon for a free abortion. I saw it on Fox News so it must be true.

Got mine delivered today. $60 for 1/8. They smell so sweet and taste delicious. Oh wait, we're talking about actual cookies. Haha

Believe what you want. I haven't purchased any cookies this year and don't intend to.
