Selling huge collection of NASCAR model kits!

I dont know if this is allowed here but if you have any NASCAR fans in your household, I have been collecting NASCAR model car kits for about 35 years. Time to unload this stuff as I prepare for retirement in Costa Rica. They won't even know what this stuff is down there!

I have models all the way back to mid 70s. Mostly 80s and 90s. Some quite rare, some not. I prefer to sell as a package but will listen to all offers. This is the chance of a lifetime for a young NASCAR fan. Lots of history here. All unopened/factory sealed. Probably nearly 200 models.

Laugh all you want. Some of this stuff is probably worth big bucks to the right person. Several of those cars are deceased drivers and that stuff brings good money. Maybe not here but probably Ebay.

Yeah, would probably be much better on EBAY, listed individually. It doesn't seem like the OP is willing to do that, but maybe he can sell to someone who is. Are there any places around here that buy your stuff to sell or will do it for a cut?

I have a feeling this dude doesn't want to go thru the shit to list them all individually. Looks like he wants a bulk buyer, either a collector or a hobby shop.

Smart move by OP. There might just a be a NASCAR nut in this group. Or someone who knows someone who knows someone etc. Im sure this stuff has value for the right buyer. I'm just not into that world myself.

There is no doubt in my mind there is some valuable shit here. Some of these collectors have more money that brains and they love to sit around and look at stuff like this. You just have to find the right sucker. Good luck!

What I found interesting about this post is looking at the sponsors on these older cars. Most racing cars now are sponsored by obscure companies that most have never heard of but looking at these pictures I see Kodak, Tide, Folgers, Maxwell House, Country Time and other common household products.

Very odd indeed. But quite interesting. I would imagine the right racing nut would pay big bucks for this collection.

Is there a way to find out what stuff like this is worth on the open market?

So if they are all worth around that much he's holding about $3000 worth. Some are probably worth more and some worth less than $15. So $3000 is believable
