After the jury fails to reach a unanimous decision, a Baltimore, Maryland, judge declares a mistrial in the trial of police officer William Porter, the first officer to be charged in the death of Freddie Gray

obviously, because the jury was not all black and didn't convict the cop: the judge declared a mistrial

a nigga judge is coming near you, and you already got one practicing spanish law (an inquisition style law) in your area! who knows what "legal rewards" have gone out the door that way!

That's what a mistrial is, ending the trial without a verdict.

If it is a mistrial because of the state's wrongdoing, then the accused gets off and can't be retried. Because it was due to the jury locking up, instead the state gets to try again.
