"Heather" At Card Services

She's back. I pressed one, told them off, they hung up. Instead of all the other crap the government does, why don't they find these people and lock them up?

Sign up for the (free) NoMoRobo service (nomorobo.com). I get zero of these calls anymore.

Because the calls are likely coming from offshore via VoIP, with spoofed callerID. Short of spending a lot of time/money/energy/hassle to track 'em back and calling in an airstrike, there's not a lot to be done.

On my "time machine list" is going back to the 1970s and convincing Bell that allowing callerID spoofing is going to be a mistake. Of course that will cause major hassles for VoIP services like Skype, but that will be somebody else's problem :)

Meanwhile, I sort of feel sorry for anyone actually named Heather whose job it is to call people and who has to use her real name. I bet she gets yelled at a lot!

The sad case of someone who doesn't have a clue about how spoofing a Caller ID works.

NoMoRobo only works for VOIP lines. Does not work on landline or mobile numbers.

Heather also has a sister, I forget her name, but I have been getting 1-2 of these stupid calls a week from Heather's sister.

Along with her friends from India at the Windows Security Team that want me to look at my Windows Log, then allow them to remotely connect to my computer.

I tell the fools I have a Mac or spell my last name for them FUCKOFF.

Then all the political related calls that will just get worse next Fall, I just do not answer the phone anymore.

Tiny little towns near and far that nobody ever heard of

Card services? You could stop these annoying calls if you paid your credit cards on time.

Heathers sister is Rachel.

This is a scam and the Government should track rucks down and put them in Guantanamo bay for a nice cockmeat sandwich.

I pressed one, and said "you fucking prawn didn't you hear of the do not call list" and she got upset. I told her if she would not call again then she would not get called a fucking prawn.

Telemarketing should be outlawed. I've never bought anything from these people, and have to think all the offers are scams.

I like it.

Friend got the call from "Microsoft support" the other day, played along for a bit. Droid asked him "What key is next to the Ctrl key?" and he said "The ALT key" and the guy hung up. Apparently he didn't know what to do without a Windows key...

You must be an FCPS graduate, spent a lot of time getting Boosterthon pledges, didn't you?

I don't even HAVE a credit card and this cunt called me. I wish I'd called her a fucking prawn even though that is offensive to aliens. Instead I called her a shill and a whore, she hung up on me.

+1000

I signed up too. Eliminates about 95% of these telemarketing calls.
