First they said 5 suspects now they say 7 - one was a dude wearing a red hoodie (who has since shed that hoodie)... they've been focused on the nursery on Popes Head Rd...

First said 3 black males, 2 black females. No idea where they got 7 from, and no clue what sparked this manhunt.

It's hard to tell what's been going on. The pic that the news sites are using appears to be near FFX CO PKWY and Snydenstricker. The news reports keep saying that the crash occurred at FFXC PKWY and "Popes Head Run". Popes Head Run doesn't appear to exist.

All I know is they have one guy in custody (the red hoodie guy). They're looking for a 5'10 B/F wearing tan pants, and a 5'8" B/M wearing a blue jacket, who is 25-30 y/o. It all stemmed from some sort of traffic violation this morning. IDK why the picture is what it is, but the whole manhunt was going on near the nursery on Popes Head.

And now most units are back in service and they're monitoring a 40 year old white male who is suspected drunk driving. I mean it's 10a on a Thursday. White people gonna white.

At 9:20 am this morning, I was inching along on northbound 286 in the normal backup caused by the Pope's Head Rd light. I was stopped just before Colchester Meadows Lane. I see a whole bunch of police motorcycles and cars turn left against the light onto southbound 286. At first I thought it was a funeral, but then they turned left right in front of me onto Colchester Meadows. Several cops parked and started running.

Then I figured that maybe one of the swells in a McMansion was slapping the wife around.

Anyway, the reports say that this incident started at 6:30 am down near Sydenstricker. I wonder why it took almost three hours for the search to center on Popes Head and the Parkway?

At 7 AM the police cruiser flew off the road at the Gambrill Rd. / Sydenstricker Exit on 286.

No clue why the media grouped it with the Popes Head fiasco.

Traffic was a mess everywhere this morning.
