I thought it was useful for posting since fairfax underground records are no longer up to date. I think your comparison that the the FCA site interface is slightly better than the FU one is far from accurate.

FCA allows to see all records without entering any data, it allows you to apply real-time filters, and allows a user to create an e-mail alert based on keywords. I have been using the site over a year and have found out so much crap about the renters my neighbor has next door: domestic abuse, driving under the influence, and without a license.

Additionally I like to search the VA criminal code on the site. I am amazed at things like "sales of phsosporous with more than 0.5 cleaning agent, hunt homing pigeons (how do you know the difference?), violation of phone company confidence, OPERATE TAXI WITHOUT PERMIT (uber?), SECONDHAND WATCH VIOLATION (what the hell is that?), PURCHASE SCRAP METAL FROM MINOR (guess their goes my sons spending money), OBSCENITY, TYPE NOT CLEAR (pretty sure I said F*ck), BUYING PIG IRON WITH INTENT TO DEFRAUD, and the humor goes on and on.. Well it is funny to me and kinda scary as well.
