Crime Report: String of Car Break Ins in City of Falls Church Last Week

A string of car break-ins and larcenies took place last Monday, January 27, in the City of Falls Church. The windows of four cars on Spring Street and one on Jackson Street were broken and cash or jewelry were stolen from four of the five vehicles.

In other Falls Church Crime Report news from the past week, there were three public intoxication arrests, two arrests for marijuana possession and a man was arrested for prescription fraud at Kaiser Permanente.

City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for January 27 – February 2, 2014

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block Spring Ct. On Jan. 27, an unknown suspect broke a car window and stole petty cash sometime overnight.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 600 block Jackson St. On Jan. 27, an unknown suspect broke a car window and stole jewelry sometime overnight.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block Spring St. On Jan. 27, an unknown suspect broke a car window and stole petty cash sometime overnight.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block Spring Ct. On Jan. 27, an unknown suspect broke a car window and stole petty cash sometime overnight.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 100 block S. Spring St. On Jan. 27, an unknown suspect smashed a window. No items were taken.

Prescription Fraud, 201 N. Washington St. (Kaiser Permanente) On Jan. 28, a male, 51, of Washington, DC was arrested for two counts of Prescription Fraud which occurred that day. The suspect also served three additional warrants of prescription fraud related to events that occurred on Dec. 13.

Public Drunkenness, 167 Hillwood Ave. (Virginia ABC Store) On Jan. 29, a male, 62, of Washington, DC, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness, 220 N. Washington St. (State Theater) On Feb. 1, a male, 25, of Washington, DC, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Narcotics Violation, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Feb. 1, a male, 37, of Arlington, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Public Drunkenness, 220 N. Washington St. (State Theater) On Feb. 2, a male, 53, of Fairfax, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence, 1000 block E. Broad St. On Feb. 2, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 30, of Alexandria, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Narcotics Violation, 400 block W. Broad St. On Feb. 2, a male, 36, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

city data lies and is filled out by democrats

since democrats took over nva politics

crime has gone way way up. the damn city data says it's gone down

don't beleive a damn word the f'ing democrats say or submit as "data"

not even ethnic data. they will show low numbers to prevent "alarming you of change"

damn liars

people round abouts here used to leave there windows open and keys in the ignition

police used to say "please don't a kid might get in the car and get injured"
