What does it say about other races - and especially white kids - who are not able to compete with Asian kids?

May be we need more tiger parenting to improve our academic performance.

nope its exactly representative of the population. just kidding. Asians make up 20-25% general population and are 75% of the TJ enrollment. Lots of pressure on the asian kids. My two non-asians will be eligible but will I let them go? Not sure. Kids study like its med school there. There will be plenty of time to spend studying for med school in med school

Interesting - didnt know that. Kind of colors the Asians study harder meme. I do know that they game the shit out of the SOL's and AAP exams by sending their kids to prep classes for each. Those tests evaluate what is learned in school not from being force fed the answers from prep coaches for hundreds of hours after school.

Asian care more about education.

Well, if you want your kid to do nothing but study and work on school assignments that is cool. They may end up in a job that pays well and achieve a social status higher than others. But you know what, I want my kid to grow up having great life experiences and learn to be an independent individual. I want my kid to know what it is like to be an American, to visit great American cities, national parks, cultural landscapes. The company I work for hires many Asians that are extremely competent in computer programming, but they are f'ing clueless about American Culture. Makes me kinda sad.

I would never ever ever ever see and Asian Doctor or Dentist.
Many want cash up front and the rest are worthless in these professions.
They cut corners and are mostly cheap.

There is no real American culture. The US is a free country, yes. But the cultures here are varied.

I suggest you make your kids study more and focus less on travel. The competition to get into college (and for decent jobs) is pretty fierce. You notice your company HIRES Asians? That's because they studied and didn't focus on bullshit. There's plenty of time for travel after they have successfully competed against the Asians and gotten into a half-decent school.

Most Asians will work for 40 years, have no social life, afraid to leave their own property less they get robbed, go to bed at 9 P.M. and wake up at 5 A.M.
What kind of a life is that? The farthest they will travel is Kings Dominion.

They're also gaming the shit out of the TJ entrance test too and Fairfax County doesn't seem to care about it. Hell, they have a guy on the school board. And they're not smarter than our kids....their parents just know how to take advantage of cram schools. Do you know that South Koreans actually aspire to live in Fairfax County and know about TJ over there? They actually have South Korean cram schools prepping those kids for TJ!! Look into the South Korean connection with C2S or C2Educate.

I'm glad many colleges don't go for that bullshit and have a more comprehensive admissions process, taking into account other measures of intelligence and character. TJ may be 60-70% Korean, but the top colleges in the country sure as hell aren't.

Those few extra IQ points apparently don't help Asians in their own countries. They still flock by the millions to White built countries to enjoy White built society.

What are races really measured by? IQ, or accomplishment?

If accomplishment, then their is simply no sense in trying to compare Asians to Europeans.

Important to note that TJ has pretty much the same number of East Asians (Korean, Chinese, Japanese, etc.) as it's always had for the last 20 years - about 30-35%. The group that has exploded over the past six years has been the South Asians (Indian, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi, etc.) which spiked from about 5% in 2008 to about 40% nowadays.

All of these get grouped into the same "Asian" demographic for the purposes of TJ statistics.
