13th in the state in English, 28th in Math , behind Arlington and Loudoun. We nailed it! World Class Schools! Stafford beat us in Math - UFB.

I went looking on the FCPS site to see if they had a press release on this - all I could find was a discussion of transgender bathrooms and how everyone gets to sleep more now.

This will probably grow. Add Braddock ES, Crestwood ES, Graham Road ES, Mount Eagle ES, Riverside ES, Woodley Hills ES - all had below minimum pass rates in 3 or more areas.
Mount Eagle had a 43% Pass rate in Science. Kudos to the Mount Eagle Science Department - you are truly world class. They will bounce back this year after they get their transgender bathroom installed.

Blaming FCPS is like putting putting bleach into the fuel tank of a 2016 Dodge Viper and then saying the car is a piece of crap when it doesn't run well. OK maybe not a Viper but you get the idea.

Yeah - let's hope its not an Atlanta situation. You'd think an electronic test would cut down on teachers correcting tests, but you never know. In Atlanta, they had "erasure parties" where the teachers corrected the standardized tests before they were submitted, and then collected bonuses based on school performance. 11 teachers convicted in that case, and that was just the ringleaders!

The County has such high taxes because the schools just throw money at things like transgender bathrooms, poorly written books from Pearson, Rose Bowl band trips, "Flip" Flippen and his horse stories teacher training, the Buck Institute, Eric Jensen's music and poverty seminars, Karen Garza's housing allowance, and a department of communications that does not communicate.
