Washington’s offensive linemen may need to tell DeSean Jackson to leave the blocking sleds to the big boys.
Jackson, Washington’s 5-foot-10, 178-pound wide receiver, suffered a shoulder injury today at practice when he ran into a blocking sled.
The injury took place early in Washington’s joint practice with Houston, and Jackson sat out the rest of the practice while icing his shoulder. But according to reporters on the scene, he appeared to be fine and was talking with players on both teams afterward, not showing any indication of a problem.
Jackson recently made a bold proclamation that “no one can stop me.” Apparently the blocking sled disagreed.
First of all, what was he doing hitting a blocking sled? He's never blocked anyone or anything in his life.
This is most likely a plan hatched by Jackson to get out of practice for a few weeks. He reminds me a lot of Allen Iverson, tons of talent but just another lazy nigger.
