The last derecho left me without power for A WEEK. As it was, I had to chase down the Dominion Power crew since they missed my street.
And, the County did nothing. They would not even keep the libraries open as cooling stations. If we have another disaster the entire board will be voted out of office.
Funny thing how Sharon Bulova had power back on within hours of the storm.

Fuck me! Damn, I didn't expected it for a couple more months. I'm short two Lamas. Does anybody know where I can get two lama on short notice?

Well, Tomorrow morning, I'm filling my gas can containers (total 15 gallons), which is enough to run a generator for a few days. If no requirement after the hurricane season, the gasoline will go in the car before it goes bad. :-)
