Mugging Last Wednesday (7/8) on Rt 1 near N. Kings Hwy

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY/MALICIOUS WOUNDING, Richmond Highway near North Kings Highway, 07/08/15, around 1:00 a.m. The victim was walking and was approached by two men. The suspects displayed a knife, demanded money and assaulted the victim. The victim resisted and the suspects fled. The victim incurred non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The first suspect was described as a white male, in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, dirty blonde hair, wearing a white T-shirt and brown pants. The second suspect was described as a black male, in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, shoulder-length dreadlocks, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

They had the chopper...tons of marked cars by the intersection, and cars w dogs whipping thru the side streets.

My guess was a cop got shot/hurt, or an attempt on one...they were here in force.
