Fireworks...

Someone's doing fireworks in the neighborhood. Scared the shit out of my grandfather who's a Vet! :(

PTSD is real..and it's a tragic irony that this day and 4th of July are harder for Vets because of fireworks that end up reminding them of gunshots and explosions that they delt with in war. Argh!

Where are you located? I'm in Fairfax (near Wegmans) and kept thinking I was hearing gun shots or something. Seems like a strange holiday to light fireworks.

Fairly close to that area. It only lasted about a minute. I think it's just a symbolism of freedom you know? But it was enough to startle the old man. I remember he said he hated July 4th because of the fireworks. It's just so ironic and shitty...

The Herndon Festival will be having fireworks Thursday and Saturday nights. You can view them most of the parking lots around Herndon.
