It is the the law as you mentioned - But
Ethanol free gasoline is needed in equipment - Not automobiles that produce the bulk of the pollution.
If there were a real need for ethanol free gasoline in Fairfax or Prince William County there would be stations offering it for sale. So we are to supply and demand.
I have a GM pick-up that can take E85 gasoline, 30 cents cheaper per gallon, but good luck finding it in Northern Virginia.
