The History of The City of Fairfax Police Department
Posted by: History ()
Date: November 05, 2013 03:13AM

The City of Fairfax Police Department has been around since 1948. 65 years later there have been no black,Latin, middle eastern or Asian supervisors on the department. There have been no minority supervisors on the Department for 65 years. Surrounding police departments have lots of minority supervisors, why doesn't the City of Fairfax PD?

The city became became an independent city in 1961 for starters not 1948. OP could be a pissed off black cop that has never been promoted for various personal reasons.

The OP sounds bitter and pissed cause they didn't get a promotion. So sorry but being a Nigger, Spic, Towel head or Chink does not automatically qualify you a supervisory position. Especially if you are lazy, untrustworthy and racist (typical Nigger Characteristics) or all of the above and a potential Terrorist threat (Towel Head).

The two city cops I've dealt with were useless tubs. One took my report when my car got hit and run in a parking lot and explained why it wasn't hit and run because he didn't want to arrest the kids who did it. I was fine with not pressing charges, but if you're going to lie to me, have the decency tell a good lie. The other wanted to bust me for DWI because I driving in the city at 2 AM, hadn't had a drop that night, but he jerked me around anyway. The whole department is a waste of money, the county cops could cover the same area for less than half the cost, fire the lot of them.

That is a very long, detailed, complete and well researched history of the police department. I suggest you publish this fine work, I am sure it will become a best seller.

Maybe the Fairfax city government understands basic common sense, diversity over ability equals fail. Being an Albino, Eskimo Midget Transgender female shouldn't be the sole criteria for someone to climb the ladder ANYWHERE. But perception is reality in today's feel good, "everybody wins"America. He is an anole...he runs this place however he sees fit because he doesn't have to answer to anyone..surrounds himself with a bunch of spineless fning yesman, they are all corrupt. He has no idea what goes on day to day, and has even said he does not care about morale.

Hey Colonel...so if a black officer lies and you are afraid he will bring in the NAACP you just delete the lying part right....ask BA Wolfe

Speaking of Wolfe..did anyone notify State Police of his little VCIN INFRACTION...oh well at least you could get him to stop asking for your resignation over that little hit and run "I'm ordering you to omit parts of your findings" report.

How about the drunk domestic abuser lieutenant who got caught lying and you missed a deadline and then "couldn't demote him"... How much dirt did he threaten you with?

Did you know your #2 used to give "special attention" to the fair city mall
movie theater mgr while on duty. Or that he once illegally entered his daughters school in the middle of the night to access her personnel file...oh he was a K9 officer at the time, they have keys to all the schools...however he wasn't there for training...went into the records room to check his daughters and her boyfriends files cause they got in trouble...don't believe it ask your other K9 officer. He can walk these halls acting all over educated and pompious but those of us who know the true him know he's nothing but an asshole hypocrite...that's right pardiny every time you pass mein the halls just remember some of us won't forget....

Captain get into any bar fights lately...I guess since he was arrested and dearrested it's all good...atleast i can take solace in the fact that he got his ass handed to him by the bouncer...here's a surprise...no report on file..

One question, how exactly do you make Captain when you've NEVER made a felony arrest?

And let's not forget probably your best who gives a shit about the citizens moment, drumroll please, you have an officer who is writing bogus tickets, he gets caught..resigns, no criminal charges. And to top it off you are part of the decision making process that allows the court to continue to accept prepayment. Do you think for one moment if this became public knowledge at the time anyone would have prepaid fines for an officer who was no longer there to testify?

I've got a whole bunch more...these are just the flashy examples

Its a shame D. Scott left and was replaced with this. He couldn't even get a whiff of the County Chief job because he was so disliked. He has turned this place vile, people will f each other over in a heart beat.

Can not wait to get out!!

As you know, he took his own life soon after you passed him over for promotion for no reason. These are not allegations...they are the truth....the hypocrisy in this place is off the charts

We talked about a vote of no confidence several years ago, however the people in line for promotion or those just plain scared of retaliation would not vote for it...

The Chief is a member of the association, so there could be no discussion without him present, and only a handful would speak out against him....

Heres the truth. Fairfax City PD is a professional organization. Like most departments they have to police their own. Its hard to imagine that any organization large for small never have employees who's performance is unsatisfactory or commit misconduct. Ive lived in northern Virginia for my entire life. Compared to other jurisdictions I canot ever remember a city officer being charged with a criminal offense. I know they have a disciplined department. They have always had a history of strict discipline. If you survived your entire career their you must be a dedicated professional.

There is plenty of bad mouthing about a certain a select of officers and their "misdeeds". Absent is three officers who in fact were fired or forced to resign. Just funny how these authors have forgotten these officers. Even more surprising is they have all been let go recently. So there shouldn't be any mystery who has an axe to grind with the department.

SHARP
NEVLUD
BURGESS

Its a mystery why their names and their misdeeds have been left off the board here. Hmmmmm

You assume its someone who has an axe to grind....well guess what...I still work there and I do have issues with the department...this is not personal...you want to get into ex employees misdeeds...when that has nothing to do with the allegations that have been posted.

It is about those who are still here....not those who are gone

these incidents reflect on the people in charge, the people who make the decisions...and when sharp nevlud and burgess left none of them were in charge of anything.....

they were not making the decisions on hiding facts, not reporting violations, continuing to collect at court etc.....

so go ahead and try to deflect away from real issues

this is about the upper management of this department

I can see that you are not happy, but I've been impressed by the professionalism of the City of Fairfax police. Compared to the county and other jurisdictions, I feel much more comfortable with the officers from this department.

Plus these aren't real allegations, they are just "leaning in that direction" from what it appears. Sorry but sitting here bored.

there are some very professional people working here...again its the internal management of this place....the VCIN violation...it occurred..it was a big black eye for Wolfes campaign
...Ofc. falsifying tickets and the City collecting $$$ off them yep ask any officer ask the employees at court...favoritism good ole boy network is still in place

dont lump every officer in with these incidents...the handling of these issues all falls with upper command..not the guys who work the street

What is a VCIN violation? Thanks for the heads up, as many of the officers I've met have been both polite and professional.

Aren't most LEO corrupt to one degree or another? Whether it be on the side of catching the bad guys, or just for personal gain, most cops lie (just like most other people, regardless of profession)if it suits their interest at the moment, whether it be to justify an arrest and conviction of someone who is a perceived "social undesirable, or to raise revenue for city/county government.
