Well, this is interesting. It looks like the original plan was for a paintball place, but the owner has put that on hold as a result of neighborhood opposition. Instead, he is developing an 'agritourism' business based on a working farm - called Whitehall Farm.
That sounds fairly innocuous until you read that they plan to develop something that sounds like Cox Farm on the site - tours, 'family fun days', corn maze, farmers market, birthday parties, etc. The county claims that there will be no traffic impact. These are rural roads; I don't see how there couldn't' be an impact.
I hadn't heard anything about this before. I have to wonder what kind of impact this will have on the adjoining communities.
