Garza's grading plan
Posted by: No accountability ()

The Fairfax citizens needs to stop the grading changes Dr. Garza is pushing schools to change to next year. These include:

-No grade lower than a 53% can be given to a student, even if no work turned in or student cheated
-Students can retake tests
-No penalty for turning in work late

FCPS wants to cooks the books since we have a large immigrant population moving in in recent years and they want our grades to look better. Soon an FCPS diploma will mean nothing. Our schools will be ghettos in less than 10 years.

Tell your school board reps that this is unacceptable. They are up for reelection this fall.

I have bad news for you. An FCPS diploma already means nothing. Try interviewing a few graduates and have them try to write a meaningful paragraph. So very sad.

Less accountability for students, yet more for teachers. How does that work?
