Fairfax beat Stonewall Today. it was hell of a game. I almost cried

Woodson at Hayfield 430
Chantilly at Fairfax 700
Herndon at Battlefield 700
Osbourn at Westfield 700

Edison at Stone Bridge 700
Freedom at Wakefield 700


I would head to Hayfield then up to Wakefield, probably the biggest matchups in 6A and 5A

It was an entertaining game, and for Fairfax, it was very different from their district final game v. Hayfield. Against Hayfield, the inside game worked OK, but not the perimeter. Against SJ, Fairfax got quite a few threes, but missed a bunch of easy layups. They had a 20-9 lead at the end of the first quarter, but all those missed layups allowed SJ to go on a run in the second quarter, and take a 6 point lead going into half. At least they managed to come back.

Tonight's game against Chantilly should be a good one.

They might be in the Washington Post Sunday edition tomorrow.
