Except clean up crews, emergency personnel and people traveling to/from work, no else should be out on the roads.
People can't drive for shit in this area on dry sunny days. I can't imagine what a shit show it is now.

The snow's a factor-was driving on it, it was almost solid. Hard to drive or plow through. Poor bimmer drivers.

495 is so fucked it is unreal. Cars are littered all over the highway spinning their wheels. VA and MD state troopers need to shut it down for a few hours. Just look at trafficland cameras to get a idea of how fucked it is.

Huh, just tried to get through there and couldn't see that it was a tree, I thought there must have been an accident. That's kind of odd, its not like there's been any wind. Usually branches and whatnot come off from icing but didnt think this was anything that could bring a whole tree down.

Yeah I was making the tree thing up, you're probably right.
I saw power crews which is why I though it was a tree or large branch.

There were way too many people on the roads today. Idiots. Plows and people stuck working on a Saturday were the only folks that should have been out there. The interstate came to a complete stop. How's any plow supposed to work in that.
