There was crime scene tape, lots of cops and an investigative unit. Was someone shot?

Hunters Woods plaza has always been a battle ground. It is next to several section 8 projects. There have been a numner of robberies over the past couple of months. Usually on a Saturday to Sunday. The plaza needs to hire an off duty police officer to patrol the plaza. Or perhaps a Reston police sub station there.

Yeah, I like Stu. Anybody that can piss off the assholes in the re-districting thread like he does, is okay in my book!

I'd vote for him if I lived in his district.

Just another bank robbery. Somebody sure does like the banks in Reston and Franklin Farms area. That's the fourth bank robbery in a mile area in a month.

Police Investigate Bank Robbery in Reston
An employee of the Wachovia Bank, located at 2264 Colts Neck Road, was robbed on Friday, December 26. The victim, a 34-year-old Reston woman, was working behind the counter around 5:40 p.m. when a man reportedly armed with a gun walked in and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as 25-30 years old with a medium-complexion. He was about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build and wore a dark blue or gray winter coat with a light blue inner collar and red zipper. He also wore blue jeans, dark boots and a navy blue, knit mask.
