He deserves about $150K per year, though he probably doesn't. I like the Junkies, I listen occasionally, met them in person several times, all really nice and sincere dudes. But they lack the talent and conversational leadership that Dukes has. Dukes could be paired with anyone and make it work because he is good at steering the talk, he's clear and coherent and remains funny and on point.

I heard LaVar makes $150K. And since his name comes first on the show, I would assume Dukes makes less. Probably something in the low 100s, high 90s.

I wish Chad would cut his hair or maybe stop wearing the backwards baseball cap or something. He kind of looks like one of jerry's kids, but he's an excellent radio host. I usually don't care what my DJ's look like, but I see his face on the web somtimes and it makes me cringe.

And? Is that not how most radio people operate? None of them do their own research or planning. They are all just talking heads, like on television, but with a microphone in their face instead of a camera. I do not begrudge Chad in the least, Dude was faced with "do sports" or "be unemployed". He is making the best of it.

All "sports talk" radio is just Limbaugh-level meaningless slop conducted in a different subject area. It's 95% charade. You don't need to do much actual homework at all.
