The Internal Revenue Service has informed us that due to federal funding cuts, public libraries will not receive the full array of printed tax forms for tax year 2014. After January 20, we expect to receive only 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ tax forms. The IRS will not be providing libraries with print copies of instructions for these forms. Each branch will maintain a set of reproducible copies of federal forms and instructions throughout the year. You can photocopy these items for 15 cents per page or scan them onto a flash drive free of charge.
