Is it just me or is traffic getting even worse in this area the last few years? I really thought it couldn't get much worse say in the mid 2000's. Sure, the 495 express lanes are nice if you can afford them. The verdict is not in yet on the 95 south of the mixing bowl express lanes.
It just seems like there are too many god damn people in this area. Will it continue to get worse?

Yes, which is why real estate inside and right around the beltway continues its boom.

Then this should really scare you. If Obummer gives Amnesty then just consider the blue line a done deal. Add 50% more people in this country... 50% more (or more!) people in NoVa... 50% more cars.
