From my understanding, a dismissed charge shouldn't matter, but am reading that it will come up in a criminal background check and could be denied. Wondering which apartments would be my best bet. The incident happened 2 years ago, and I started a job 8 months ago where I make $42k a year.

Get it expunged by the clerk of the court.

At 42K, you're not going to be getting much pussy on the open market, and not going to be able to buy high class hookers - mostly fucking Hispanic hotel maids during their off hours or crackhead nigger whores (is that redundant?). Put your money towards rent and get used to Five Finger Rosie.

Background checks generally only look for convictions, not arrests. You need to be a lot more worried about things like your work history, credit, and your low salary.

She was laughing about it (I can't blame her), but guess all this stuff I was reading online about people with dismissed misdemeanor's can't get apartments are either wrong, or they have other stuff going on.
