Grubhub.com the New Takeout Taxi?

Anybody use Grubhub.com for food delivery?

I saw that. I remember take out taxi. Never used it.

Kinda defeats the purpose of restaurant food, getting delivered.

Yeah, that's why nobody has pizza or Chinese food delivered. WTF?

I think Take Out Taxi was a good idea, but a failed business model. There is no way I can order a $9 meal from Red Robin, my wife orders an $11 meal from Chili's two miles away and my daughter orders a $10 meal from Olive Garden a couple of miles from Chili's. In this area, around dinner time, the driver would spend 45 minutes going to all three locations to pick up the meals prior to even starting off to deliver it. Just not economically viable. Hell, I am surprised that Vocelli Pizza delivers as far west as they do from their Fairfax location; that is a brutal drive to deliver one pizza.

Never had any issue with GrubHub + grubhub customer service is always responsive and adequate. I try not to abuse fastfood as much as I can, but their burgers are awesome.
