Fairfax High beats Langley

should we keep coach Simonds? Today we where down 21-7 and we came back to win the game 35-28. We are now 3-3. I think we can finished 5-5. If we do should we keep him? we started out slow but not we are doing much better. I graduated from Fairfax in 1987. We where doing so well right ok right now. Not perfect but maybe we might go back to the glory days. My son is upset because I attend the football games with him, even tho I don't sit near him..

Of course we should keep him. Until last night, I didn't think this team was performing to its potential, but that changed last night, and in a big way. There are still a couple of things we need to work on, but no team is perfect, and they did manage to come back after being down by 14. I'd love to know what the coaches said to the team at halftime, but whatever it was, it worked.

By the way, looking at the rest of the season, I think we finish 6-4, not 5-5.

be careful what you wish for. You're lucky to have Simonds. he is a quality coach and has provided good stability in a school whose football playing population dwindles each year. there are not nearly as many young assistant coaches desiring to be head coaches as you may think nor is Fairfax looked upon as a premier job by current head coaches. rally behind Simonds and give him all the support you can.
