Not a Comstock fan but Foust seems awfully uniformed. Most of his answers were very general and half were basically just repeating the question back and stating some generic position.

I guess maybe as a district supervisor you don't deal directly with a lot of the larger issues raised. To be fair, the heavy representation of business people doing the questioning was somewhat to his disadvantage.

Foust can't debate for his life.

Foust's wife is a long-time business partner of AG Eric Holder's wife. Does anyone think that Foust would be anything but a rubber stamp for anything the Obama administration wants to do, constitutional or not, like Gerry Connolly?

If Foust has that kind of federal pull, then why wouldn't we support him given the amount of federal dollars being spent in NoVA? Republicans won't be in power until at least 2024. Let's go with the winning party here.

What exactly has Francis Wolf done in his 30+ years of Congress that is considered noteworthy? He comes across as a wallflower at a tea party, if you know what I mean.

I'm actually pro-choice. However, jobs and the economy are the issues that I am most concerned about. Seems to me that the only thing Foust is doing is attacking Comstock on her pro-life views.

Abortion did not come up yesterday until Foust's closing comments. Does he think that is the most important issue in this race? And, that ad that he runs about cutting waste when he has always voted for tax increases. Misleading much?
Foust bumbled many questions in the debate. The only time he really spoke clearly was in his canned opening and closing statements. When he clearly answered questions, it is clear that he supports the Obama agenda.

You Couldn't pay me to vote for Comstock. Comstock feels the government has the right to tell people how they can treat their own body, So she must feel the Government has the right to control your whole life. The republicans may not raise your taxes, but they sure have no problem spending them on their own programs. Also keep in mind the Republicans had their own version of Obamacare.

John Foust just doesn't have his heart in this race. He is letting Act Blue and other outside groups run the campaign, put out the message of the day, and create the talking points.

Foust does not want to be a Congressman. Which is sad, as there were other, better, candidates who would have stepped up.

Please don't vote in Foust. He looks like another Connolly - in committee hearings, Connolly recites the memo he received from the White House that morning. And when he does go off script I cringe in anticipation of what nonsense comes out of his mouth. Northern Virginia can do better!
