Lawyer search

Any good resources for finding a lawyer that will assist with a family and domestic law case? I don't want to just pick up a phone book and start dialing. Needs to be in Fairfax City area, preferably close to the court house.

Try William Reichhardt and Associates. They are right across from the courthouse and excellent for Family Law.

What are the relevant criteria? There are probably over 100 good domestic attorneys with varying strengths and weaknesses. There may also be 10 to 20 domestic attorneys that would be considered great, but they are going to cost a great deal more. Some are sole practitioners or work in small firms and others may work in firms of 10-20 attorneys. Prices can run from a low of around $200 per hour to a high of $600 per hour or more, and they also can have a wide range of initial retainers.

Is Fairfax City around the courthouse the most convenient location for you? Most Northern Virginia attorneys routinely practice in Fairfax and are familiar with its courts, so if Reston or Tysons or Arlington or Alexandria was more convenient, you could find someone equally as good there.

Call Tom Koerner, he is a public defender so it's not going to be to expensive , he honestly can get you the best deal for the best price
