Anyone know what's replacing the old Chili's in Fairfax?

I saw construction crews in there today - looks like they are renovating for a new restaurant (hopefully). Anyone have any details?

I have been to the original Chuy's in Austin and it is great. Super addition to the area which really lacks fresh Tex-Mex options. Too bad parking is not great in that lot.

I've heard pretty good things from friends who've been so I'm excited for something different in the area. I agree parking isn't ideal in that lot. And honestly, I don't know who would shop at half of the stores there. Too bad they can't knock down a store or two and add some outdoor patio seating.

That's too bad that Chuy's is going in there...I was hoping we might finally get a mattress store of some kind here in the area.

I've been doing some market research about opening up a new business around central Fairfax and determined this area has an increasingly high demand for mattress stores, spas/nail salons, pho, thai, kebabs, and auto parts stores. And used car lots. On the other hand, there is too much supply in the area of neighborhood serving coffee and wine shops, brew pubs and eateries, live music/comedy venues, etc.
