I will be 20 September 3rd 2014 and should be able to use my mother's medicaid plan. My younger brother has SSI so he is automatically eligible for medicaid. My mother has been unemployed for quite some time and is a part time college student. I am a full time college student and recently moved in with my grandparents for a better environment. They collect SSI and are both unemployed. I reported the address change and the representative told me that it shouldn't matter as long as I am in the same state as my mother. I am in the same county, zip code, and town as I was before. The letter in the mail said I was dropped because a.)no eligible children living in the home b.) Assistance group moved to another case.

I make below poverty level through a work study program at my university for 8.25 an hour, ten hours a week. This is hardly enough for food and gas, let alone health insurance. What should I do and what does this mean?

You're too old and you have to share the same residence I believe.

So they can make sure that you don't see a doctor if you're poor and you fucking die.
