Good, It was too broad and does nothing to address gun crime and violence. You forgot to mention that it prohibits and makes a crime the consumption of alcohol by anyone possessing a gun and allows the business to restrict as they see fit.

That is not quite what HB22 provides. HB22 was designed to regulate gun buyback programs. The requirement that all guns acquired be resold is not one I support, but one motivation behind this was to prevent the destruction of historical firearms acquired through gun buybacks.

I'm not a fan of mixing guns and alcohol. However in Virginia any food service establishment that sells alcohol is usually considered a "bar", and it is my understanding that HB505 prohibits persons taking firearms into a bar from consuming alcohol.
