An employee of the Hope Center in Vienna reported that a dog bit her while she was attempting a medical procedure on May 21.

According to Vienna police, the dog was slated to be quarantined at the facility until being released to its owner, who lives in Arlington. The case then will be followed up by the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

Three days later, an employee at the center reported that she was bitten by a cat while attempting to perform a medical procedure.

The cat was released to its owner, who resides in Culpeper County, and the case was turned over to the Culpeper County Health Department for follow-up.

Stupid thread and worthless graphic skills. "Still here" is not a good thing in your case.

It's part of the job, besides vets, why do you think groomers get paid so much?

Our vet made us take our sick cat to the Hope Center. We didn't like the treatment at all. I am not surprised to see pets biting technicians there all the time. I won't go back.

This is the dumbest thread ever!

My un-neutered ( by the way, much better for their health- do the research) male Pomeranian has temper tantrums & I've been bitten a few times. Still better than a faggy, fat dog with no muscle tone who smells bad because, He's missing sex hormones.

OH MY GOD A DOG BITE! Grow-up, ointment, a Band-Aid, it'll be fine...

usually, animals at a vet are from at least the same COUNTY the clinic is located in, know what I mean?

isn't Hope Center like the "medstar" of vet clinics around here?

I think it's like the 24hr emergency hospital of vet clinics or something, I may be wrong about that.

but if it is, doesnt surprise me that they'd have more "incidents" or whatnot.

It's one of three major 24/7 walk-in emergency vet clinics around. The two others are VCA Southpaws just east of 50 and Prosperity and the Pender Emergency Centre at Fair Oaks. Many other vets have staff on-call 24/7, but that's not the same thing.

Any animal that bites a person should be destroyed. If it is a cat, it should be done with a baseball bat by bite victim. If it is dog, it should be shot. PERIOD. Screw aggressive pets.
