For those awakened this morning c. 2 a.m. in the Springfield-Burke areas, any ideas what the incidence was? Aircraft in area for about 45 minutes.

Really? Is someone else asking about the aircraft that fly around here again? Come on people. Pay attention. First of all, the Burke-Springfield area is right in a military flight path. We get all sorts of their aircraft all the time. Perhaps you usually sleep more deeply and don't notice them, but they go by ALL the time.

As for a craft being up for around 45 minutes, more than likely a police chopper. When they go out they are often doing a search pattern for some idiot who's trying to run away. They circle an area for a long time. They were out around midnight or so Wednesday morning as well in the same general vicinity. Kept me awake for over an hour.
