Today at about 3 p.m., a faculty member was attacked while teaching a class at the Law School by an individual armed with pepper spray. The individual is not a George Mason student. Police were immediately contacted and the individual was apprehended and taken into custody.
The faculty member suffered minor injuries but did not need immediate medical attention. Some students were affected by the pepper spray, were examined and released by first responders.
